Areola Tattoo & Nipple Reconstruction

Nipple reconstruction & areola tattoo can help you feel more comfortable and confident in your body after breast surgery.

Areola tattooing, sometimes called 3D nipple and nipple reconstruction, is a specialist treatment that recreates the natural appearance of the nipple and areola following a mastectomy, breast reconstruction or other breast surgery.

For many women, it’s one of the final stages of their reconstruction journey, and although it may seem like a small detail, it can make a real difference to how they feel about their bodies.

I’m a fully qualified Level 3 Beauty Therapist and award-winning cosmetic tattoo artist with over ten years of experience. Over the years, I’ve developed a particular interest in areola reconstruction, and it’s an area of my work that means a great deal to me.

I’m fortunate to have built a strong reputation within the industry and to be recommended by oncologists and cancer care units across the country. I take that trust seriously and understand just how important it is for clients to feel comfortable and confident in the person carrying out their treatment.

A Personal Approach to Every Nipple Reconstruction or Areola Tattoo

No two people are the same, and neither are their experiences of breast surgery.

Before any treatment, we’ll sit down and have a proper consultation. We’ll talk about your surgery, what you’d like to achieve and anything you might be worried about. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions, and I’ll explain what’s involved so you know exactly what to expect.

I’ll look carefully at your skin tone, natural colouring, breast shape, scarring and any existing nipple or areola tissue. All of these details help me plan a result that looks as natural as possible and suits your individual body.

Using specialist tattooing techniques, I work with different pigments, shading and highlights to create the appearance of a three-dimensional nipple and areola. The aim is to achieve a realistic result that blends naturally with the surrounding skin.

I can also work with existing scars, unevenness or previous reconstruction where appropriate. Contact us today to find out more.

Understanding What You've Been Through

I know that by the time someone comes to see me for areola or nipple reconstruction, they may already have been through an awful lot.

Surgery, recovery and everything that comes with a cancer diagnosis can be physically and emotionally exhausting. Everyone deals with these experiences differently, and I would never assume to know exactly how someone feels.

Some clients are excited to reach this stage. Others are nervous or unsure. Some simply want to feel a little more comfortable when they look in the mirror.

Whatever brings you to me, I’ll take the time to listen and make sure you feel at ease.

Your appointment will always be private and unhurried, and you’ll never be pressured into making a decision. It’s your body, and it’s important that you feel happy with every step.

Taking That Final Step

Whether you’ve had a single or double mastectomy, breast reconstruction, breast-conserving surgery or another procedure that has changed the appearance of your nipple or areola, we can discuss the options available to you.

My aim is simple: to use my experience and skills to give you the most natural-looking result possible, while making sure you feel comfortable, respected and cared for throughout the process.

For some people, areola tattooing is simply the finishing touch to their surgery. For others, it means much more.

Whatever it means to you, I’ll be here to help you through it.
